Great Schedule: The schedule for this position is 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with one hour lunch, Monday – Friday.

The Clinician, a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), plays a key role in supporting Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare’s mission to promote hope, recovery, and wellness. Based at the Geriatric Transition Center, this position provides compassionate, person-centered care to individuals experiencing mental health, behavioral, or substance use challenges. The Clinician helps clients achieve stability and independence through residential stabilization and medically managed services, working closely with the treatment team to implement individualized recovery plans and ensure support in the least restrictive, most empowering setting possible.

Starting Pay Rate: $24-$26/hour

Qualifications:

  • Education: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and possess a current and valid Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of clinical experience working with SMI population preferred.
  • Licensure/Certifications: Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
  • Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
  • Safe Driving Record: This position requires transporting clients and driving agency vehicles. Candidates must have a good driving record, which is defined as no more than two moving violations in the last three years and no criminal moving violations in the last five years.
