With more than 13 attorneys and offices in Dallas and Chicago, we are currently seeking a Transactional Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 0–3 years of experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Associate-Attorney Job Description:
The ideal candidate for this position will have 0–3 years of experience in general corporate transactional matters, including entity formation, contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, and business structuring. Additional experience or interest in healthcare transactional work, insurance laws and HIPAA compliance, due diligence investigations, and healthcare regulatory matters is a plus but not required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements to support ongoing business operations, including service contracts, vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and collaborative business arrangements.
• Provide legal support for business transactions with a focus on healthcare-related entities.
• Conduct and manage legal due diligence for transactional matters, identifying risks and providing actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop practical, business-oriented legal solutions that align with organizational objectives and healthcare regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor with strong academic record
• Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas
• 0-3 years of relevant experience
• Excellent research, analytic, writing, and communication skills
• Effective and efficient problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively, and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and to follow through and meet deadlines
