Contract Recruiter Position
Decision Information Resources, Inc. (DIR) is seeking independent research consultants who can assist with recruiting school districts to participate in the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) Regional Educational Laboratory Southwest’s Providing Reading Interventions for Students in Middle School (PRISMS) Toolkit Evaluation Study.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct email, telephone, and Zoom outreach to Texas school districts and schools to confirm interest and eligibility to participate in the PRISMS study (using a standardized protocol);
- Conduct follow-up discussions to develop and finalize a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with participating districts and schools;
- Update the recruiting database to track progress;
- Participate in weekly team meetings; and
- Other tasks related to recruitment.
Other details:
- Position is 100% remote
- The working hours are flexible but schools will need to be contacted by phone during traditional working hours; consultants typically work between 15 and 30 hours a week, depending on their caseload
- Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of experience) in Education is required
- Compensation ranges between $30 and $50/hr, commensurate with experience
- Contract period: September 2024 through March 2025
