Web Developer — Project-Based
Brand: FASON DE VIV — Women’s Clothing & Lifestyle
Location: Remote / Philadelphia-based preferred
FASON DE VIV is seeking a project-based Web Developer to support and enhance our Shopify website. This role focuses on creating clean design updates, implementing new features, maintaining site performance, and supporting quarterly homepage refreshes. You’ll work closely with our marketing, SEO, and creative teams to keep our digital shopping experience modern, fast, and aligned with the brand.
What You’ll Do
Build and update Shopify website pages (homepage, product pages, collections, landing pages).
Complete quarterly homepage redesigns with brand direction.
Implement UX/UI improvements across the site.
Troubleshoot bugs, errors, and customer-facing issues.
Install and configure Shopify apps (reviews, loyalty, SMS, email, upsells, etc.).
Improve mobile responsiveness and overall site performance.
Support SEO needs such as meta updates, structured data, and tag setup.
Collaborate with the creative & marketing team for campaign updates and new collections.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience working with Shopify (required).
Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid skills.
Strong eye for layout, visuals, and clean UX.
Ability to translate creative direction into functional pages.
Problem-solving skills and ability to work quickly.
Strong communication and ability to meet project timelines.
Compensation — Project-Based Structure
This role is paid per project, not hourly. Tasks are priced individually depending on scope.
Website Tasks
Small updates/fixes: $50–$150
Medium updates (new sections/pages): $150–$300
Larger feature builds or redesigns: $300–$600
Quarterly Homepage Redesign
Full refresh aligned with brand direction: $300–$600
(Completed once every quarter.)
All projects are scoped and approved before work begins.
