Senior SQL Developer

Design, develop, and support SQL-based reporting and data solutions that enable day-to-day operations, management insight, and regulatory reporting. The role operates primarily within Microsoft SQL Server environments supporting commercial off-the-shelf applications (including Credible and Methasoft) and internal data needs. This position offers a hybrid schedule, with some days on site in Burlington, VT.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and support SQL-based reporting solutions, including SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), operational reports, and data extracts
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support reporting, integrations, and operational data needs.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate reporting and operational requirements into accurate, efficient SQL solutions.
  • Support recurring and ad-hoc operational, management, and regulatory reporting.
  • Support limited Power BI use cases and contribute to the gradual evolution of reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain custom data-related components, interfaces, and utilities that support reporting and operational workflows
  • Work within existing SQL Server environments to support database performance, reliability, and data integrity

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Five years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server in a production environment
  • Significant experience supporting reporting and data operations using SQL-based approaches
  • Experience developing and supporting SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Experience supporting vendor-provided enterprise applications and working with internal stakeholders

Structure:

  • Full time
  • Exempt
  • Salary starting at $88,538.22
  • We offer a competitive salary commensurate to experience
